"My name is Kathy Gibson. I'm 53 years old and I'm part of the triathlon group that Rosemary coaches. I've been part of the group for almost two years. It’s lots of fun and has helped me in many ways. Before I started training with Rosemary I had concocted a crazy tri training schedule for myself, which included swimming, biking and running nearly every day! Rosemary has taught me how to train properly and avoid injury. She also taught me the importance of resting as part of my training schedule. Rosemary has been faithful in building monthly training schedules for me to follow to accomplish my goals. She customizes the schedule taking into consideration my upcoming events. Under her coaching I have achieved greater success in the sprint distance. She has also helped me confidently make the switch to international distance and I plan on doing a Half Iron next year. With numerous certifications, graduate-level coursework in exercise physiology and sports psychology and a bachelors degree in exercise and sports science, Cathy is determined to be the best coach for her athletes. She embraces the philosophy that optimal endurance performance is achieved with a balanced approach to training: a smart training plan, precise functional strength, quality nutrition, adequate rest and fun.
