Online registration will be closing Friday, October 24 at 5 p.m. CST. In-person registration will be available at packet pickup on Thursday, October 23. There will be no race-day registration.

The Athleta Espirit de She Dallas Duathlon starts and finishes on the Square in historic downtown McKinney, taking participants on a flat, run-bike-run route through historic boutique-lined streets and peaceful country roads.

Water and gatorade will be available at all aid stations and at the finish line. There will also be a medical tent located at the finish line.
Keep at least three bike lengths of clear space between you and the cyclist in front of you. If you pass the person in front of you (“enter the zone”), you must do so within 15 seconds.
You must remain to the right hand side of the bike lane of travel unless you are passing the cyclist in front of you.
You may not ride on the left side of the lane if you are not passing anyone. This interferes with other cyclists who are attempting to pass.
If someone passes you, you must immediately exit the draft zone from the rear (e.g. slow down so there are at least three bike lengths in front of you) before attempting to pass again.
No headsets, radio and/or headphones are allowed.
Packet Pickup – Thursday, October 23 at Athleta Preston Oaks
10 a.m. – 8 p.m. Packet pickup
5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Get race ready! With the help of performance stylists, shop Athleta’s favorite looks for race day and redeem your 20% off any one item – an added perk found on your race bib. Combined with refreshments and good company, this is the pre-race event you don’t want to miss – save the date!
Race Day – Sunday, October 26
6:30 a.m. – 7:30 a.m. Packet pickup
6:45 a.m. Transition opens. Once your bike has been checked into the Transition Area, you cannot remove your bike until after the start of the race when you start your bike leg. Bike mechanics will be available to help with tire inflation and mechanical issues.
6:45 a.m. Body marking begins
8:15 a.m. Transition closes. Please note that we will reopen the Transition Area for bike and equipment retrieval once all athletes have completed the bike course and are on the run course. Please show your bib # to the Transition Area volunteers so they can match it to your bike number. Bikes will not be allowed to be removed without your bib numbers. Only athletes are allowed in the Transition Area.
8:30 a.m. Race begins. This event will utilize two start waves. The long course athletes will go first and the short course athletes will go approximately five minutes later.
8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. Post-race rendezvous and market at Café Malaga
10 a.m. Bubbly bar opens at Café Malaga. Registered participants can redeem their two complimentary drink tickets for sparkling mimosas. Please bring your photo ID on race day to get your wristband.
11 a.m. Awards ceremony
All athletes will receive a finisher’s medal immediately after crossing the finish line. Award necklaces will be presented for top finishers in the following categories:
